Be welcomed by real people. Be inspired by honest worship. Be challenged by Biblical messages.
Church of the Harvest KY is a nondenominational, Spirit-filled church located in Mount Sterling, Kentucky.
Founded in 1995 by Pastors Marion and Missy Fawns, our mission has remained the same: to glorify God, disciple believers, and reach the world with the hope of Jesus.
We believe in the power of God’s presence, the authority of His Word, and the importance of living out our faith with boldness and love. Whether you're new to church or looking for a place to grow deeper in your walk with Christ, you’ll find a welcoming, truth-filled environment here.
Our church is centered around authentic worship, biblical preaching, and the work of the Holy Spirit. We’re passionate about seeing lives transformed — not just on Sundays, but every day.
Come as you are. Leave changed.
God opened the door for Church of the Harvest to purchase 15½ acres of land on Osborne Road. Outgrowing our original Spring Street location, we began holding services in a local school gymnasium while starting construction on our new home.
During the building process, we temporarily gathered at a local hotel. Through it all, our faithful church family stayed committed—volunteering time, skills, and prayer to keep the project moving.
With hearts full of gratitude, we held our first celebration service in the newly completed building.
We expanded our facilities by adding classrooms, a kitchen, and a library/bookstore to better serve our growing ministries.
Praise God—Church of the Harvest became completely debt free! We also launched a local campus for Alpha Bible College and Seminary to equip future leaders.
We partnered with Angel Food Ministry, becoming a monthly distribution site to bless families with affordable groceries and spiritual support.
We became the host site for God’s Pantry in Montgomery County, distributing free food each month to families in need across our community.
As a church, we stepped into a new season—believing for a finished, furnished, and full house of worship, free from debt and full of life.
Church of the Harvest deepened its commitment to discipleship, launching new Bible studies, leadership training, and expanding worship and outreach ministries. These years were marked by steady growth, community connection, and strong spiritual foundations. 2020 2 During the COVID-19 pandemic, Church of the Harvest adapted quickly—streaming services online and staying connected through virtual ministry. The church remained a light in the darkness, providing hope and practical support.
We resumed in-person gatherings while continuing our digital ministry. A renewed emphasis was placed on healing, prayer, and spiritual growth. The church also refreshed its branding and vision to prepare for a new season of impact.
A focus on humility before God and one another defined this year. The “Year of Humility” reminded us to walk low, serve with joy, and honor the Lord above all. It was a year of surrender, healing, and restoration.
Church of the Harvest celebrated a season of expansion—new partnerships, increased local outreach efforts, and growing leadership teams. The church continued to serve the community through prayer, acts of compassion, and practical ministry.
With the “Year of Action” underway, Church of the Harvest launched new Action Classes, restructured discipleship pathways, and introduced new teaching series that emphasize obedience, growth, and kingdom impact. We are not just a church—we are a movement.
